TEXT
[ The 'how' of it hangs in her head, but one of the daggers at her side sticks in her mind like a sore thumb. If that doesn't give her an idea, but -- hm. ]
What sort of weapons do you repair?
TEXT
[At the mention of potions he's pretty sure already that he's dealing with the latter, but he's gotten pretty used to all of that at this point.]
Honestly, I can repair anything with the right parts. I can't fix magical properties, but if a sword is broken I can put it back together no problem. If anything is missing I just need something to replace it with,
using the sword example some scrap steel should work.
TEXT
[ Her product is relegated into a liquid form, after all, while he deals in solids. Hmm! ]
I do have a dagger I acquired at the market that hasn't managed to hold. It would do well for a purpose different than I had intended if it can be repaired. Something about the density in the crafting means I'm having to take greater care in handling of things, it seems.
TEXT
[He's honestly not sure how to answer that and he doesn't want to come off as awkward as he feels about it. Potions, witch craft, magic - what others call alchemy was so alien to him, he couldn't possibly think to compare it, especially with no first hand knowledge of her craft.]
I'd be happy to take a look at it, I can't promise anything until I know what I'm dealing with though. I don't have a shop yet or anything,
but I could meet you at the communal housing building.
[And maybe ask her some more questions about what it is that she does while he's at it.]
TEXT
That does sound agreeable. I am assisting in efforts to resolve the temporal issues that have arisen from the chalice's presence in the portal, so my availability is somewhat sporadic. I suppose you could say I am... on call? I think that would be the proper terminology.
TEXT
Then we can compare techniques.
[He might be a little curious, which congrats because most of the time if he can dismiss something as magic he loses interest pretty much immediately.]
TEXT
[ More than agreeable. There's a grin tugging at the corners of her mouth now. ]
Ah, but I forgot my manners, again. I am Líadan Ní Donnabháin. You can call me Lí if you'd like. Must people here do.
TEXT
Edward Elric, but I'm sure you could figure that one out.
