Before Purg we were always on the road. There wasn't much toilet paper shopping. Attollo didn't really have brands for things.

Everything was generic? Weird. I guess it worked for the place if people weren't complaining about it. That or the place had the good sense to provide good toilet paper for all your troubles.

When gods run the place they can make up whatever rules they want, what was complaining going to do?

For better or worse, I'm pretty sure even gods can be moved. I think I might stock up on it all the same when I can go out, though.

You really still think that? At least Attollo gave everyone running water.

[If anything they were more flexible than Purg's gods which meant Val should have even less of a reason to be so optimistic.]

I never said I wanted to be under the thumbs of any touted divinity. If we came into anything like that again, I'd just as soon see them broken.

[Okay, he doesn't remember implying she was exactly volunteering. Just seemed odd she was under the impression gods could be moved considering where she just came from. Ed's not sure how to even respond to that text, it might be easier to say now that they weren't under the watchful eyes of certain shady characters. In Purg he learned to keep his head low, to not make waves and in Attollo everyone learned how to protest in their own ways. Quietly, subtly. By standing their ground until the effects wore off until next time.]

There are people here capable of fighting against them, I think. That's why I doubt it would happen.

[ Lucky for him, she's feeling that clinging tiredness swell. Not so lucky for her, of course. She sleeps often. That doesn't mean she sleeps well or dreamless. Sometimes, she still hears Neffe speaking about the nature of that place. ]
